In the April ensign President Nelson said:

“The Second Coming

The Lord will return to the land that He made holy by His mission there in mortality. In triumph, He will come again to Jerusalem. In royal robes of red to symbolize His blood, which oozed from every pore, He shall return to the Holy City”.

So it’s quite obvious that the Lord’s appearance to the Jews is what he considers to be the second coming and everything leading up to that event is the prelude… and what’s another way of making reference to “the prelude”, but that is a bit more covert than just coming out and saying it?

Well, it is to refer to it as “the continuing process of the restoration”! And what might that include? Well, it’s just everything that we have always known would happen before the Lord made his appearance to the Jews. Here’s a partial list…

1- Abomination of desolation upon the Gentiles.

2- Us having to “stand in holy places” for a time.

3- The trek back to Missouri.

4- The Lord appearing to his saints at Adam Ondi Ahman or His coming as the Bridegroom.

5- The first millennial resurrection of the righteous, which is also restoration.

6- The return (restoration) of the ten tribes.

7- The return (restoration) of the city of Enoch.

8- Christ dwelling with His saints in the New Jerusalem.

9- The righteous gathering to the New Jerusalem to assist with it’s building… otherwise known as the gathering of Israel (restoration) which President Nelson says is to precede the second coming.

I’m going to say that all of the above and more are a part of “the continuing process of the restoration”… “It’s going to be exciting”, right?

I give it as my opinion that April conference will be the kickoff to all of the above in as much as President Nelson did recently say, “We are all looking forward to General Conference, then we will focus on the Gospel of Jesus Christ in its fullness”. Please share…
