Rev chapter 17 gives us the story of the burning of the whore (the west, especially the US and the British) by “the beast (Russia) that was, and is not and yet is”, assisted by ten other nations.

And the truth is, that if you understand just these very basic elements of Rev 17, you have a pretty good idea of what Mr. Putin and his allies among the many nations who have been abused by the whore (the west) are planning and about to execute as we come to the end of the 42 months. (Please take the time to view timeline video 1 if you have questions about the 42 months.)

We hear in the news that Russia has given missiles and armaments to North Korea and other nations… Experts have theorized that he is doing this in order to give the US and NATO some of it’s own medicine, to fuel and create proxy wars against the west that is…

But given the fact that July is just around the corner and that the 42 months is about to expire, I can’t help but believe that Mr. Putin has something much more ambitious and decisive planned… after all, Russian ships have recently performed maneuvers off our eastern coast and the Caribbean… and what’s to stop them from giving missiles to Cuba may I ask?

So, does all of this add up, are we at the end of the 42 months and about to witness the fulfillment of John’s prophecy of the burning of the whore?

My personal belief is that we are there, that we are about to hit what I’m going to call the apocalyptic trip wire… the abomination of desolation… the big event that will set a cascade of prophetic events into motion! We read about it in JS Matthew:

32 And again shall THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, be fulfilled.

33 AND IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TRIBULATION OF THOSE DAYS, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of heaven shall be shaken….

36 And, as I said before, after the tribulation of those days, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken, THEN SHALL APPEAR THE SIGN OF THE SON OF MAN IN HEAVEN, and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn; AND THEY SHALL SEE THE SON OF MAN COMING IN THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN, WITH POWER AND GREAT GLORY;

37 And whoso treasureth up my word, shall not be deceived, for the Son of Man shall come, AND HE SHALL SEND HIS ANGELS BEFORE HIM WITH THE GREAT SOUND OF A TRUMPET, AND THEY SHALL GATHER TOGETHER THE REMAINDER OF HIS ELECT FROM THE FOUR WINDS, FROM ONE END OF HEAVEN TO THE OTHER.

For the righteous among the saints this cascade of events will end well… for the wicked not so much. However, all will be tested by these events, events that will go far beyond anything that the human family has previously experienced.

Among the positive developments where the righteous saints are concerned… “angels… shall gather together the remainder of his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other” and the heavenly New Jerusalem will attend the Lord’s coming and will provide the saints with peace and protection as the world sees the buildup towards Armageddon and the Lord’s coming to the Jews as their Messiah.

Tribulation and the second coming go hand in hand because… if the Lord didn’t stop the wicked in their tracks, the wicked would destroy the righteous and the Lord won’t allow that to happen… Here in 2024 you are either ready to receive the Lord or your not, but none the less… the apocalyptic season is already in view!
