As I contemplate the state of the world at this particular moment in time, I am amazed at the degree of control the globalists have over what people believe, think, say and do. I recently heard the COVID-19 pandemic referred to as the “plan-demic”. To be sure, this is not the first time this kind of thing has been promoted by the globalist crowd but the difference is that this time they have played their hand in such a way as to convince almost all governments that CV-19 is worse than the cure they are proposing and many around the globe have taken the bait, hook, line, and sinker so to speak.
In my book, The Bridegroom Cometh, I make the point that I believe that the 42 months is really a time when freedom, liberty and the constitution will be challenged or thrown under the bus in a big way. Well, it’s easy to see that that’s exactly what has been happening since the elections of 2016.
However, the scope, intensity, and reach of the present “plan-demic” is way over the top of anything they have promoted in the past. The economic impact alone is staggering beyond comprehension!
So, are we nearing the end of the 42 months and will the present situation be the final straw so far as what the Lord will allow before He comes down on the wicked of this world? Consider for a moment what we learn from 2 Nephi 10 where we read:
11 And this land shall be a land of liberty unto the Gentiles, and there shall be no kings upon the land, who shall raise up unto the Gentiles.
12 And I will fortify this land against all other nations.
13 And he that fighteth against Zion shall perish, saith God.
14 For he that raiseth up a king against me shall perish, for I, the Lord, the king of heaven, will be their king, and I will be a light unto them forever, that hear my words.
15 Wherefore, for this cause, that my covenants may be fulfilled which I have made unto the children of men, that I will do unto them while they are in the flesh, I must needs destroy the secret works of darkness, and of murders, and of abominations.
16 Wherefore, he that fighteth against Zion, both Jew and Gentile, both bond and free, both male and female, shall perish; for they are they who are the whore of all the earth; for they who are not for me are against me, saith our God.
We all know that the Lord established the constitution, the bill of rights and the rule of law as the foundation for governance here in America, and in the above passage the Lord says “there shall be no kings upon the land, who shall raise up unto the Gentiles”, right? And so the question needs to be asked… how long before the Lord “must needs destroy the secret works of darkness, and of murders, and of abominations”? How long before “he that fighteth against Zion, both Jew and Gentile, both bond and free, both male and female, shall perish”?
Well, from my perspective, we have got to be very close to the end of the 42 months, I’m praying for the Lord to come and deliver us. I think I’m one of those spoken of in D&C 133 where we read:
38 And the servants of God shall go forth, saying with a loud voice: Fear God and give glory to him, for the hour of his judgment is come;
39 And worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters—
40 Calling upon the name of the Lord day and night, saying: O that thou wouldst rend the heavens, that thou wouldst come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence.
41 And it shall be answered upon their heads; for the presence of the Lord shall be as the melting fire that burneth, and as the fire which causeth the waters to boil.
42 O Lord, thou shalt come down to make thy name known to thine adversaries, and all nations shall tremble at thy presence.
The members of the Church in our day are to be involved in the second coming according to Elder Rasband of the Quorum of the Twelve who said in conference:
“We live in that time prophesied; we are the people charged with ushering in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ; we are to gather God’s children, those who will hear and embrace the truths, covenants, and promises of the everlasting gospel. President Nelson calls it “the greatest challenge, the greatest cause, and the greatest work on [the] earth today.” Of that miracle I bear my witness.”
Let us pray and fast for the end of the present wickedness and the coming of Zion, that we may each be a part and do our part in the ushering in of the Great Day of the Lord!
