So conference is past and hopefully we all have a better perspective of where we stand in the progression of time as we move towards the Lord’s second coming.

We know that the second coming as defined by President Nelson is the Lord’s appearance to the Jews. In the terminology of Ezra Taft Benson’s definition, this would be His second appearance. We, therefore, conclude that we must pass through whatever is needed to accomplish the Lord’s first appearance, we’ll call that Adam Ondi Ahman or the coming of the Bridegroom if you will. And I think we just experienced, as a whole church, the partial fulfillment of Joe’s prophetic words, wherein he said in chapter 2:

15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:

16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.

Did we not just hold “a solemn assembly” and did President Nelson not call upon us to “sanctify a fast” that the “bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet”?

Could it be more apparent that we are fast approaching the fulfillment of the parable of the ten virgins? And seeing that the missionaries have been called home and the temples are all closed, how long will the Lord withhold his judgments. It was Brigham Young who stated:

“Do you think there is calamity abroad now among the people? Not much. All we have yet heard and all we have experienced is scarcely a preface to the sermon that is going to be preached. When the testimony of the Elders ceases to be given, and the Lord says to them, “Come home; I will now preach my own sermons to the nations of the earth,” (In Bowery, July 15, 1860, JD8:123) TLDP:344-45

President Nelson has called upon us to fast, that the Lord might overcome the effects of COVID-19 in the land. However, it’s becoming more and more apparent to many that COVID-19 is being used by power-hungry globalist types as an excuse or a means of extending their power over America and the nations of the earth.

So it may well be that the blessing we seek at this time of crisis will be anti-virial in more ways than one, or so we can hope… And this anti-viral event could very well be the long-awaited cleansing that we know is to precede the Lord’s coming to America.
