The coming of the Lord as the Bridegroom via section 88 is central to what this post is all about, however, when one looks closely enough, the Lord’s first and third appearances are directly referenced and His second appearance is also eluded to. Hopefully, by the time you get to the end of the second video, you’ll understand what I’m talking about.

For a long time, this blog has relied on the traditional text format with video occasionally used as a supplement, however, it has recently come to my attention that many students of the scriptures feel that they get more out of the video format.

Additionally, speaking from the presenter’s perspective, I’ve found that the video format makes it possible to more easily present complementary or contrasting passages side by side.

The two video segments below are intended to show how Rev 6:12-17 is demystified and amplified by what the Lord revealed to Joseph Smith in section 88 of the Doctrine and Covenants.

Here’s hoping that you will find the video format to be beneficial as well. Also, I’m very much aware of the need to become more proficient as a video presenter, so please be patient as I learn and grow in that regard, or alternately… pray for me… 🙂

At the 22:57 mark of the first video I say “terrestrial”, what I meant to say was “telestial”. Also, because of the layout of this presentation, larger screens such as tablets and computers are suggested.

The first five minutes and forty second of the following video is a review of the first video and so if you go immediately form the first vide to the second, you may just want to start at the 5:40 mark…
