And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake…

Frank M. Keele

One of the characteristics of the 42 months is that the saints are to be persecuted by the beast that John saw, from Rev 13 we read:

2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.
10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

We learn from the above that the beast gets his power from Satan, for we read “the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority”. It is also “given unto him to continue forty and two months” and to “make war with the saints, and to overcome them”. Additionally, he is given power “over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations” according to John.

So it appears that this beast, which I’m going to identify as a global cabal, casts a pretty wide net! A perspective that we as Latter Day Saints need to keep in mind, lest we risk adopting a myopic view and thinking that the persecution of Christians and other liberty minded folks doesn’t count for anything in John’s prophecy…

Please remember that the vast majority of the House of Israel remains in it’s scattered condition at this point in time. These future members of the church are also the Lord’s chosen and shall also pass through the 42 months as well. So perhaps it’s time to consider a much-broadened view of who is to be affected by the 42 months and just who the Lord has reference to when he speaks of “my people”.

One of the objectives of this blog is to show how current world events equate with the unfolding of the 42 months. Let’s see what we can do about that… To accomplish our objective we turn to Nephi who saw what John saw… (See 1 Ne. 14:24) From 1 Nephi 22 we read:

10 And I would, my brethren, that ye should know that all the kindreds of the earth cannot be blessed unless he shall make bare his arm in the eyes of the nations.
11 Wherefore, the Lord God will proceed to make bare his arm in the eyes of all the nations, in bringing about his covenants and his gospel unto those who are of the house of Israel.
12 Wherefore, he will bring them again out of captivity, and they shall be gathered together to the lands of their inheritance; and they shall be brought out of obscurity and out of darkness; and they shall know that the Lord is their Savior and their Redeemer, the Mighty One of Israel.

So the Lord is going to “make bare his arm in the eyes of all the nations” in the process of “bringing about his covenants and his gospel unto those who are of the house of Israel.” He will bring them “out of obscurity and out of darkness; and they shall know that the Lord is their Savior and their Redeemer, the Mighty One of Israel”.

Does this sound a bit Second Coming(ish)? That’s because it is! As we learned in the previous blog, the great and exponential gathering of the House of Israel is millennial and occurs after the coming of the Bridegroom. However, as Nephi sees it, there is something in the way, something opposing the Lord’s purposes and it is nothing less than the “great and abominable church”, the global cabal. We continue reading:

13 And the blood of that great and abominable church, which is the whore of all the earth, shall turn upon their own heads; for they shall war among themselves, and the sword of their own hands shall fall upon their own heads, and they shall be drunken with their own blood.
14 And every nation which shall war against thee, O house of Israel, shall be turned one against another, and they shall fall into the pit which they digged to ensnare the people of the Lord. And all that fight against Zion shall be destroyed, and that great whore, who hath perverted the right ways of the Lord, yea, that great and abominable church, shall tumble to the dust and great shall be the fall of it.

So we see that Nephi, who saw the same events that John saw, defines the Lord’s people in very broad terms, says he “O house of Israel” which includes those who are still scattered! This global cabal (great and abominable church) stands in opposition to the “house of Israel” and “Zion”. It “perverted the right ways of the Lord… and…shall tumble to the dust…great shall be the fall of it.” We return to Nephi’s prophecy:

15 For behold, saith the prophet, the time cometh speedily that Satan shall have no more power over the hearts of the children of men; for the day soon cometh that all the proud and they who do wickedly shall be as stubble; and the day cometh that they must be burned.
16 For the time soon cometh that the fulness of the wrath of God shall be poured out upon all the children of men; for he will not suffer that the wicked shall destroy the righteous.
17 Wherefore, he will preserve the righteous by his power, even if it so be that the fulness of his wrath must come, and the righteous be preserved, even unto the destruction of their enemies by fire. Wherefore, the righteous need not fear; for thus saith the prophet, they shall be saved, even if it so be as by fire.
18 Behold, my brethren, I say unto you, that these things must shortly come; yea, even blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke must come; and it must needs be upon the face of this earth; and it cometh unto men according to the flesh if it so be that they will harden their hearts against the Holy One of Israel.

Nephi proclaims that “the time cometh speedily that Satan shall have no more power over the hearts of the children of men”. Again, sounds rather millennial(ish), doesn’t it, that’s because it is! He further tells us that “the fulness of the wrath of God shall be poured out upon all the children of men” and why will he do this? Because…. “he will not suffer that the wicked shall destroy the righteous”!

Sounds rather ominous doesn’t it, even 42 month(ish) I’m going to say. Or, as Daniel tells us, this is to be “a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time”… A time when “the wicked” shall attempt to “destroy the righteous”… What? The wicked are plotting to “destroy the righteous”? How so??? In another place (1 Ne. 22) Nephi explains:

14 And every nation which shall war against thee, O house of Israel, shall be turned one against another, and they shall fall into the pit which they digged to ensnare the people of the Lord. And all that fight against Zion shall be destroyed, and that great whore, who hath perverted the right ways of the Lord, yea, that great and abominable church, shall tumble to the dust and great shall be the fall of it.

Here Nephi tells us that they who “war against” the “house of Israel… shall fall into the pit which they digged to ensnare the people of the Lord” and what is that pit? Answer… Nephi tells us that “they must be burned” and that “the destruction of their enemies” will come “by fire” or “even if it so be as by fire”!

So I’m supposing that some of you are thinking… “What?… Frank, are you saying that the up coming nuclear WWIII (when the beast shall burn the whore) is a plot, a plan, some diabolical scheme cooked up by the wicked?” Yes, precisely… but Satan himself is the mastermind behind it!

It wasn’t long after nuclear technology was first developed that the globalists began to spread it among the nations, and even to those nations who have shown hostility and contempt towards freedom and liberty. Nations like Russia, China and North Korea… I haven’t time or space to document this for you, you’ll have to do your own homework but the information is readily available if you take the time to look…

We’ve reached a point in this blog where we need to take a quick look at what the globalists are up to and how their actions relate to the 42 months. Let’s make a list…

1- For a long time the globalists have stirred up and promoted the more radical parts of Islam, in turn they have done all they could to introduce this anti Christian, anti Christ, Shari law promoting element into the Nations of Europe and America. You know, Europe, the area of the world that Nephi identified as the “mother Gentiles” (Ephraimites) and America, the place where these “Gentiles” (Ephraimites) migrated with a record which “proceedeth out of the mouth of a Jew” in hand. Both Europe and America are rich in the blood of Israel and are therefore primary targets of “the great and abominable church”, the globalists… those who fight against “the house of Israel” and “Zion”… Nephi foresaw this!

2- Since Brexit and the unexpected phenomena that swept an unconventional candidate into office as the American president, the globalists have come out against the people’s choice in ways that are off the charts. They are backed by both the “fake news media” and the “corrupt deep state”. They have shown utter contempt for the constitution and the rule of law. Their promotion of violence and discrimination against those who disagree with them is becoming the hallmark of their creed. They want no borders, free and uncontrolled immigration and what they appear to want more than anything else is to overturn the results of last fall’s election!

3- The globalists in Europe are just as defiant and determined to ignore the will of the people who voted for Brexit as the so-called left is to overturn the election of Donald Trump here in America. The rule of law and democratic principles mean nothing to the globalists except where they are able to manipulate such in there own favor.

4- Assuming that we entered the 42 months last fall, I’m going to say that we can expect continued escalation of the present pattern with more violence, terrorist attacks and attacks on free speech, with continued and escalating censorship on media such as Google, YouTube and Facebook. The right to speak freely will depend on what side you take. I can’t imagine that there are many readers out there that have not already felt the chill!

In conclusion, it is my humble opinion that we who are members of the church need to broaden our view of the 42 months and realize that the events which John, Daniel and Nephi describe extend fare beyond the realm of the Latter Day Saints. If we fail to do so, we may miss the countdown to the coming of the Bridegroom all together…

  1. Many are called but few are chosen. It seems that the number of people here may be part of the few.
